Chicken tom ka (tom ka kai) is a popular but less well-known, creamy and coconutty Thai dish.

A delightful cream soup harmonised by the flavour of coconut milk, galangal root (Thai ginger), kaffir lime leaves and lemon grass.

Just add coconut milk, chicken and mushrooms, and serve with steamed rice for a delicious, authentic Thai meal. Cook gently to prevent the coconut milk from separating.
