Gunkanmaki, or battleship sushi, is a special type of nigiri sushi - an oval, hand-formed clump of sushi rice with a strip of nori around it. Roe, oysters, sea urchin, quail eggs and corn with mayonnaise are popular toppings for gunkanmaki.
The kit includes full English language sushi-making instructions and illustrations for nigiri and gunkanmaki sushi. The kit will make around 15 pieces, enough for 2-3 people.
